First week with no job

So today marks the first week since I lost my job, though I hadn't been able to work for the 2 works prior. It's been a long flare, but each day is seeming better. Small goals every day. Yesterday was grocery store and dishes. I managed that. But even just going to the grocery store and putting stuff away was rough. But I know I can't stop moving. Even when depression tells me not to bother. Today I want to switch out the cables between the tv and soundbar, which will let me control tv and soundbar with one remote. And dinner with dad. I told him I was going to take a shower first, and he told me not to if it is going to wear me out. While I don't feel like I've had the best support in MS communities previously, I am very fortunate of the support I get from my family. They dont really have answers, but do their best to understand what I am going through. Not just the MS, but everything. So feeling pretty positive today.

I have noticed my energy reserves being low as well, even while im still on these steroids. Just try to do one thing at a time so you don't overwork yourself. This heat in Alabama isn't helping at all so be aware of the heat too. Not sure where you live but heat can drain your energy and cause flare up from what I've researched so far. Look at the small things you can do and work from there. Patience is not a virtue of mine so having to recalculate my daily activities is challenging but im doing my best as well.

Not too much heat here in Ohio yet, but I also CRANK the ac way up. Even then I still have a window unit in my bedroom. Hopefully can get through the holiday with decent weather to be able to go to a picnic! Even just for a little while.
