Fatigue!!

How does everyone handle fatigue? It's so discouraging because I am a young mom with 5 year old twin boys and still working full-time. I work a pretty sedentary job, but I get up and walk as much as I can. My neurologist says that my fatigue is not MS related, but I feel otherwise... I do yoga and ride a stationary bike, eat pretty healthy, but I do love my coffee and kombucha. I have increased my water intake by adding Ice and fresh or frozen fruit.

Fatigue for me is probably the worst part of my MS. Added to that we also have twins who are 20 months old!! And our three year old daughter and I have a very active job working shifts. So lots of reasons to be tried. I was really struggling mentally with my diagnosis and fatigue. My nurse put me in touch with a brilliant MS psychologist and she really helped me with managing It. She told me take 15 minutes minimum everyday for me to rest just walk away and not to feel guilty about it. As hard as it is to try and do that I just manage my time! Once I got in to that and making sure I do that my fatigue has improved. Fatigue is a massive part of ms it’s just managing it.

fatigue is not MS related!!! is your neurologist even a Doctor ?! seriously though fatigue is known to be about the most common and serious side-effect/ part of MS. As well as there being ways to help you manage it if I were you I'd change my neurologist. Sounds to me like this person is not someone who should be seeing people with MS. I've changed Drs, and treatment centres, its a pain but worth it
