Avonex
Hi everyone, I have just taken Avonex for the first time on my own. When I injected I think some liquid squirted out on my hand. When I looked I couldn’t find any evidence of a leak. I had a difficult time getting the auto injection to work. The button wouldn’t depress for about half an hour. I think there could of been something wrong with the pen or I didn’t screw the needle on enough. If anyone has lots of experience using Avonex please could you advise. 🤷♀️ Many thanks 🤩.
I use avonex and have for 22 years. I don’t use an auto injected one. But I think it sounds like a faulty pen. If you are putting the needle on yourself make sure it is tight.
Thank you. I think I did not screw the needle on tight enough. Good thing is I haven’t had much side effects. Perhaps it hardly went in 🤷♀️. I guess I will try again next week. You sound brave for using a needle for 22 yrs. You are amazing 🤩.
