Vascular insufficiency

So since I had COVID almost a year to the day and had the fun delta variant I've noticed my legs retaining water. I tried more potassium, lower my salt intake, drink more water, water pills both over the counter and prescribed, compression socks but all to no avail. So my neurologist after trying all that sent me to a cardiologist because of COVID heart. After being poked and prodded, multiple CT scans they found it wasn't a clot, but they call it May-Thurner syndrome. Fancy name for what it is. Basically the artery is larger then the veins in my legs is allowing the blood to pool the in my legs. It can be "fixed" with a stint in my abdomen, and an ablation. Don't ask what that is because it's above my pay grade. Apparently it's very common in people with MS because, for me atleast, are more sedimentary. Thought I might pass that along because when you dig deep, there's a lot of articles about the link between this and legions. I'm just a dumb plumber so hopefully someone else has seen this issue before and can let us all know more. EDIT:I don't know why fun drugs are a thing with this post.
