MS and additional injury/bone healing

I was diagnosed dec 2016, began having symptoms june 2016, which includes tingling in fingers, fatigue, soreness/pain, and urinary retention difficulties. Mid july 2018 I was in a bad car accident that resulted in 2 breaks in my femur, ridiculopathy in my back (L5-S1) that causes sometimes debilitating nerve pain from knee to ankle since day of accident. I had surgery within 24hrs with rod and screws put in. The upper break did heal but lower did not. My orthopedic surgent ordered a bone stimulator in dec which I was not able to obtain till a wk ago. He just learned last month that immune suppressant drugs can cause longer duration in bone healing:( I'm on tecfederia and last saw my MS specialist in sept..she did not note anything about my medication causing a problem with bone healing but was not surprised the symptoms that subsided in oct 2016 (I did antinflamatory diet until Feb 2017, after being on tecfederia for 2mons) came back full fledged. Now I dont have medical insurance since oct 2018, all of my treatments are approved from auto insurance, which is terrible:( I was fortunate enough to continue to obtain my ms med thru program and bone stimulator due to low income & mo insurance to cover it. This whole process has been mentally and physically draining. I have been told that I will need to have another surgery in july with thicker rod if the break does not heal by then:( I'm wondering if anyone has been thru something similar.

@candice_mcgregor , I don't think I've been through anything near as traumatic as your experience. I'm just wondering whether you would have access to Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT), sessions of breathing pure oxygen under atmospheric pressure? It stimulates the healing process, professional sportspeople use it to heal injuries, and can also benefit MS symptoms. https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy
