Diagnoses.

I was diagnosed 8 years ago. I had no symptoms, but I was at work one day, and suddenly I realised I hadn't been too the loo since 6:00 that morning and it was now 2:30 ! At the end of the working day I phoned my husband to get me an appointment at the doctors. No appointments, so knowing things were not right we went to the surgery, No doctor available, and I made a scene, and left. Back home 10 minutes later and a message on the answer machine, said a doctor could see me in 15 minutes. I went back, and the Dr I saw said you look in pain. 5 minutes later he told us to go straight to our emergency hospital. To cut a long story short, after 13 days of tests came the diagnosis, MS. No symptoms, until that day, of not being able to have a wee. 😏 It was good to hear that there was something wrong. I have many dark days, thinking about why I didn't know notice any signs, I still ask why me, I was 60 at the time of diagnosis and my husband had just retired, and we had started to plan of retirement. Moving house, travel and doing things on the spur of the moment. We have travelled, and done things in a whim and we've found a bungalow, and the house is up for sale. Things are looking good for 2024.
