UTIs - anyone had relapse/new activity using Uromune vaccine?
Appreciate this is pretty niche, but hoping others might have tried Uromune (UTI vaccine). Within 4 days of starting I’m getting MS activity down left side - pins and needles and buzzing. Life has been pretty cruel to me but thankfully my MS has been extremely kind, it’s benign and I’ve not had activity for many years. Uromune is an immunostimulant so don’t think it’s coincidence. I need to continue as I’ve had a chronic (constant) multi drug resistant UTI for 4 years, just wanting to gauge risk. Have appointment with Neuro to discuss in a few weeks. Thank you.
I have just downloaded shift ms and looked to see if anyone had tried uromune for UTIs. I realise your post is 2 years old but I was wondering if it did help you. I started on the 11 th June the treatment and today got a UTI. I get 7 UTIs a year and was hoping to avoid being on prophylactic a/b for life by trying uromune. It seems not. Hope you are keeping well
