Is It MS...

I was diagnosed with RRMS on Dec 17th 2017, and my annual scans are showing no activity. I had the lumbar puncture, and evoked potential eye test. The lumbar puncture was positive and I failed the eye test. I have chronic fatigue recurrent optic neuritis, right-sided muscle weakness, muscle spasms, mobility issues, cognition problems and chronic migraine. I have tried several DMT's which I was allergic to, so I'm not currently taking any medication. I spoke to my consultant who has now said because there has been no activity for 5 years then maybe I dont have MS. She is going to have a meeting with the radiotherapy team and we're going to talk in January. I'm really confused because of all the symptoms I have, and the fact that the lumbar puncture and eye test confirmed the diagnosis. Has anyone else had a 5 year plus period of no new brain activity and been told that they they don't have it?

@Bexi12 Personally, I would seek another opinion. I haven't had a relapse for 9 years but my MS is still there. I haven't had much activity on my brain either, but the lesions are still there even though they are not active. My symptoms are still there. You have been diagnosed with MS, what more is there to say.

Thanks Andrea, It took 4 Dr's and 7 years to diagnose my MS, and the care I've received has been shoddy to say the least. It was my previous Dr who finally pulled his finger out and started taking things seriously. He then transferred me to this new Dr as the hospital she is based in is closer to my home....and here we go again!
