Exercise with numb legs? Newly dx

Hello, I have a quick question. I was diagnosed with RRMS one week and a half ago. I am 24 and in school/work and I am trying to inform myself and wrap my head around the diagnosis.. long story short I had a Cortisone IV for five days because my whole lower body was numb and heavy.. the cortisone side effects are finally fading and a bit of my numbness as well. Is it safe/recommended I do some* exercise (light but efficient) while my legs are still somewhat numb? Or based on your experiences should I wait? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any advice!!
@NorasMom

I have no experience with this, but I would say to limit yourself to short walks or things like leg lifts while laying down. Any kind of impact exercise runs the risk of hurting yourself without realizing it. I wouldn't attempt any mountain climbing right now. :)

I've got numb legs and I miss my workout classes I would hold of for now. Don't want to overheat and make it worse. Rest is key, I'm doing very light walking and that's a struggle tbh x
