Advice

I need some advice in regards to 2 types of medication that’s been prescribed to me to start taking opposite from the previous medication I was taking which was Copaxone. I have been advised to make a decision to take Ocrevus or Kesimpta. I need some advice who can advise me whoever has been taking these medication how they’ve been feeling once they have taken them if there’s been any change when taking the medication and side-effects that they’ve had they felt. I am very confused and scared as these are stronger meds to take.

Hi, I'm in the Kesimpta club. Big fan of stronger meds for MS if i am honest, Touch wood no relapses (yet) and no progression (yet). I took my first dose at queens square and they told me i had about 6 hours till it kicks in and sure enough that FIRST time i went to bed like i had a terrible cold, shivers etc. but by the morning i was brand new. Never had an issue since. i have become mindful that leading up to my monthly injection you get a bit of the 'crap gap' where you can feel more worn down, After the jab i tend to avoid situations where im around lots of people/socialising because ive just depleted by b-cells. Lessening your immunity it just something ive adapted to Quite honestly so far i have got on great with it. My team checks up every 5 months or so to see there haven't been any side effects. i feel looked after.

Hiya I've just started on kesimpta after taking copaxone for 9 years, I was also terrified of taking stronger medication, but so far I've never had a reaction to the injections what I do is take pain killers the day of injection just incase and the crap gag is bearable, obviously there is more risk if infections and stuff but I've been totally fine so far and I have a 3 year old who forever has a cold! Hope that's helped! Xx
