Average time to switching treatments

Hi all - in April I agreed with my neurologist to switch from tecfidera to tysabri due to increased activity in my MRI. I’ve done the various tests that need to be done before starting Tysabri, but am still waiting for confirmation of when I’ll start, I’m conscious that I’ve been told I’ll have a month’s wash out period after stopping Tec, so realistically am not looking at starting for a while yet, but the lack of clarity from my MS team at UCLH is getting a bit frustrating. Does anyone have any experience for how long it’s taken to switch treatments? Am I just being an annoying patient? Thanks! Alice

I'm at UCLH and have gone through the switching process a few times, I heard they're pretty understaffed in the MS team at the moment. I find the best way to get in contact and get updates is through the email (message me if you don't have it). The app and phone numbers are pretty useless imo. Annoyingly they'll base your washout on when they can book you in for the treatment, but keep on it them as there's cancellations you can sometimes snap up.
