Ok so I went to the neuro today. Review of MRI shows all sorts of new lesions since original Dx in 1998. I never did dmt even tho I was told about it. I don't know if I wasn't educated enough on it or if I was just in denial. Now to find out how dmt can slow progression makes me feel, well never mind. The dr wants to put me on Gilanya. No clue what it's like to be on anything. I'm scared of side effects but probably more scared of losing control of my life and my body with progression of ms. Has anyone been on this? What is this? I asked lots of questions but didn't seem to get a lot of answers. I am seeking a second opinion at an MS clinic at Johns Hopkins ms center. Just putting this ou there. Any input is welcome! Thanks
