Dancing like a man on fire!

I've lost count on the many sensory disturbances I've experience in the last year and a half of being diagnosed. These include electrical currents of euphoria I feel in my legs (in the evenings), to the fittingly named MS hug around my diaphragm. But nothing compares to the burning sensation I experience across my body. The burning (pain) sensation I can only describe is like an invisible hand holding a lighter flame and running it across your upper body - the head, neck, shoulder, arm and around the love handles. It's as close to self-immolation it can get, you feel you're LITERALLY on fire! I notice it sometimes flare up when I'm annoyed, anxious or when my body temperature goes up a notch. The worst thing is, intermittently, when I'm out and about on an overcast day, the cloud suddenly opens up with a death ray from the sun zero'ing in on me, the burning sensation just kicks off and overwhelms my senses! I can't help but dance like a man on fire in the middle street! And obviously to the look of bemused passersby in the street..... Does anyone share similar experiences and the hilarity that ensues?

I used to grab my head and scream for about 3 seconds before drugs took the edge off the pain!! My friends thought I was nuts!!

I have never had it that bad but yesterday we were at a car show and it was a cloudy day. The sun would burst through the clouds occasionally and my face would feel like it was on fire. I had a newspaper and sat there with it blocking the sun pretending I was reading. I imagine people walking by thought I was a old crazy lady holding that paper at such a weird angle. The earth finally rotated enough that I was able to find some shade. I bought a small pop up shade tent to take to shows but this one was in the center of town no dirt. This tent takes us less room in tote bag than one of the camping chairs and you can get two chairs inside it when it is set up. I bought a portable fan this year that runs on batteries that clips to the tent. I spent less than $50 on both of them. Potter
