Looking for advice and people to understandšŸ„²

Hello! I just joined shift.MS, due to just feeling entirely alone and so misunderstoodā€¦ nobody i know wants to do research or be informed about MS before telling me what i need to change or do, so iā€™ve been stuck keeping it all in my head I am only 21, BUT i have been dealing with chronic pain, numbness, dizziness, seizures, muscle spasms, fatigue etc. I have been though about 10 jobs in the last year just TRYING to find a position that would work for my body as well as my mind. (i have had on and off memory issues, and everytime i think itā€™s getting better it takes a turn for the worse) iā€™m starting to think about finding something part time, but i am so scared and uncertain about how disability works.. but it would be impossible to live off of part-time income:( if anybody could offer some advice or suggestions about my situation iā€™d love to talk to someoneā™„ļø

Howdy @lilehhh13, welcome to the forum! Sucks having to worry about physical and mental health, income, and relationships, all at a time when we feel the least able to do so. All I can tell you is everyone of us has been in your shoes and somehow persevered, and you will too. Here's my best advice. Work on your mental health. You're going to need to be stronger and more resilient than you've ever been. Get tough. Make one realistic goal and go for it. Focus on that one thing, and when you get there, make another one and focus on that. Look into CBT - it's one of those great Jedi mind tricks that really work!
