Do I need to delay my Kesemptia injection been I have a cold?

Hello, I've been taking Kesemptia since the summer with no real problems. I'm due to inject on the 9th of January and I've got a fairly mild cold, I'm not sure if I need to delay my injection until all my symptoms have cleared up. Advice from anyone who takes kesemptia would be appreciated. Ps. I have left a message with my MS nurse but it can take her a while to get back so I thought I'd ask here as well. Thanks

I’d be interested in the general opinion as I have the same issue (& injection date!) I’m thinking if it’s mild and I don’t have a temperature or cough I’ll go ahead.

Hi @letty, I don’t take Kesemptia, I take Rituxan for my infusion. Not sure if this is the same but I would push back the infusion. I got a little sick the day of my last infusion. Long story short I still took the infusion, got really sick the next day then got bronchitis for almost 3 months. I’m not sure how strong kesemptia is, but if it weakens your immune system, I would rather pay any cancellation fee there is than suffer painful coughing and sneezing for 3 months. Not sure if this helps but I hope your next infusion turns out well.
