Still learning

Today I had the day off, so I drove my younger daughter and her boyfriend to the park since they are on Spring Break and wanted to see each other. They started on a trail and I followed behind them, as they are only 14 and I didnt want them going alone. I thought it would be a short walk, but it must have been at least 1 mile, I kinda think more. But now, I am soo lazy, my left thigh feels like I just ran a marathon and my right knee is numb and tight, like there's a band around it! I am coming off my first episode of MS, and for the most part it's better, but I have to remember I just cant walk as far as I used to without resting. One day I guess I will learn!

@laurianne25 Good for you; I have done that too many times. Feels like a great day to push myself so I do... When I start tiring out my mind goes "Oh Oh" - now I have to make it back somehow... Followed by a long nap on the couch when I finally make it home.

Ha! The callousness of youth :) I have only recently had similar sensation issues w my legs. My brain says I can/ought/should do something. My bloody legs seem to hold a different opinion. V frustrating. Odd as I cycled/clumbed/hiked a lot. Just not used to the leh/brain disagreements! Still, in the words of Churchill, KBO (Keep Buggering On).
