Pharmaxo Kesimpta delivery
I'm a little worried. I emailed Pharmaxo yesterday as I haven't heard anything from them about my next Kesimpta delivery. I only have one left which I will be doing on the 4th August. I was told by the guy on the phone, when they rang me back that after a year, it gets stopped. I haven't had an mri since starting to see whether it's working. Has anybody else been told this by Pharmaxo? I will be getting in touch with my ms nurse tomorrow. Could this be an issue with the global IT outage that happened on Friday? I'm a bit concerned as I love this treatment and don't want to change. It just seems very strange to just stop my treatment after a year and not being told.
Hi Julie, mine didn’t stop after a year. After a year, they stopped sending them out one at a time, it changed to groups of three every three months. There have been a couple of times where I have used my last one before the next group arrives but they’ve never been late. They can be a pain to get on the phone though. Hope you get it sorted
@ChrisH I never ring them. Always email as they never answer the phone. The man said it had been stopped/cancelled for some reason. Very bizarre. I could understand it if it wasn't working but not had an mri to determine that as yet. Said they've got to get in touch with the pharmacy and the Q E in Birmingham. I have no idea what's going on 🤦♀️
