Ocrevus, Kesimpta, or Rituximab

I’ve had one 2-dose round of Rituximab but have the option to go to a new care center where they can only offer ocrevus or kesimpta. Leaning toward kesimpta but really have no clue why. I’m a 34 year old male diagnosed in Oct 2022. I liked the plan of infusion every 6 months more than I like the self administered shot, but at the end of the day I just want to do whatever will be most effective at keeping MS at bay. I’m also exploring HSCT though it feels like a pipe dream and none of my care team has anything positive to say about it. But I don’t want to miss a narrow window to stop progression before too much irreversible damage is caused. I’ve read so much but nothing seems to get me closer to understanding what to do. If anyone can weigh in I’d appreciate it.

DX in Sept and my Neuro said he wanted to start me off as strong as possible and that Ocrevus is the gold standard of MS medication on the market . I do like only having to get the treatment every 6 months . its literally a morning in the hospital with an IV reading a book :P

Hi I’ve been on kesimpta for a year now the injections are really easy, monthly and take minutes. It varies but I’ve been really lucky and had no side effects. Good luck with your decision making.
