problems with wound healing while on Aubagio
hello, im kinda new here..
My question is does anybody else have problems with wound healing. I had a total hysterectomy October 2020, and have had a variety of issues all dealing with the fact that it just wont heal. Had a 2nd surgery to remove scar tissue that was turning gangrene September 2021, followed by a wound vac and now another surgery in January to remove more scar tissue that was making it difficult to walk. I asked doctors repeatedly since before the first surgery should I be taken off my MS medication. I asked over and over and now my doctor has finally decided to let me get off the Aubagio. Thing is I have all the research to show that Aubagio causes wound healing complications, all the medical journal that talk about it, but because it doesnt say it on the patient insert my doctors, both nuro and oncologist kept saying it wasnt the medication..
So now after 3 years of being put thru hell and back I am finally going to start the Aubagio wash out tomorrow in hopes that my incision might finally heal those being the exact words the doctor used today,, 3 years and 2 extra surgeries, countless visits to the doctor twice a week they have finally said oh it might be your medication lets get you off it.. okay,, fine
My question is who else has been put thru something similar? I cant be the only person dealing with something like this.
