Just been offered Kesimpta

Hi, I've just had a letter from my neurologist saying that I am eligible for Kesimpta. I've done the general reading about it and the risks etc. My questions are: I know it suppresses the immune system. I take this is long term suppression as you take this medication long term? I work with young children in a primary school. I know it's drastic but should I look for another job? I'm a permanent wheelchair user and I know that the medication won't reverse things but I'm optimistic that I wouldn't deteriorate as fast as I am doing at the moment. Is anyone on Kesimpta? What do you make of it?
@Tinnyamc

I'm on kesimpta, I started in February and work in a primary school too. I haven't found that I've had any more illness that I've had previously if that makes sense? I've had no side effects from Kesimpta either x

Hi, on Kesimpta also. No major probs Some tiredness and aches after injection but no real pattern What is a clear and escalating pattern for me (everyone's different) is the effects wear off towards the end of each month because I track as well as experience symptons and can see a clear increase routinely in the week or so leading up to the injection As for immunity, the research so far does demonstrate it weakens immune system and can lead to more sever courses of illness although that isn't something I've experienced so far, but on the other hand I avoid unwell peope and busy environments like, err, the plague 😂
