Pain v Numbness

Hello, I’m just in the about to have my second MRI to have it confirmed I have MS after my first relapse in March. Originally I had lots of numbness and weakness but not much pain. It seemed very linked to my emotions so when I got a bit worried, I would go numb. I’ve had a stressful few weeks at work and a bit worried about my appointments coming up. This time, I’ve had lots of pain, particularly in my back, arms and wrists. I’m not too worried about it, as feel I will be getting treatment soon. I was wondering though, do you think this is actually a sign I’ve been getting better since the relapse? My theory is, when I was numb the signals weren’t getting through the lesions but now they are, I’m getting pain instead. It’s obviously just an idea but was wondering if anyone who had a better understanding on this could shred some light? Thanks! X

Stress is one of the leading causes of worsening your MS by my understanding. Maybe look into destressing or calming through different ways to help settle your mind.
