Well it’s been a minute.

Hey all, Hope everyone is well. Been not doing to bad here the last little while. Excluding today. But the last I don’t know 5 weeks or so now been feeling pretty good. Been getting stuff done outside that hasn’t been able to get done in the last 3 years. So was a lot of work. Also had to move my garden this year so see if it will solve the problem that I was having of stuff rotting from the bottom before the top was even ripe and ready. So moved the location which means I had to make the new spot ready. That was a lot of work but got it done and all my plants in the ground. So was pretty proud of myself about that. Was still feeling pretty good after getting the garden done so I decided ok there is a Walnut tree growing in a bad place in my front yard that needed to be taken down. So away I went. Cut it down. Dug down below the ground level and cut the stump down. Filled the hole back up. Seeded it with grass. There was also a bunch of regular weeding and planting of flowers and stuff. Along with power washing of many brick things that we have around the back yard that keeps mulch in that had to all be replaced this year. So has been busy around here. Thankfully I had one of my sons and a nephew that were bot willing to help with a lot of the heavier stuff like the bricks and the carrying of mulch bags and what have you. There there is today where I just feel like a bag of smashed assholes. Had zero drive to get out of bed this morning. Slept like crap. That is if you want to call what I did sleep. Stomach is upset. Just feel horrible. But otherwise things are going really good around here for a change. I think the biggest amazing thing is about a month or so ago my most amazing and determined sister did the most selfless thing she could ever do for me. She found my son for me that was adopted out due to reasons I had no control over. But she surprised me with the news. It was the most amazing thing that anyone has or probably ever do for me. When the chips are down there has always one person I could count on and that is my sister. She has always had my back. So my son and I have not went a day since without at least texting a hello to each other. Have made phone calls and FaceTime’s too. It has been amazing. Actually my Wife and I are actually taking a trip next weekend up to see him. So pretty excited and terrified and a whole mixed bags of emotions going on. Oh and that isn’t the end of the good news either. My boy has also has a little boy. He is just over one years old. So I am now officially a Grandpa. Which I am so ok with. Almost 42 years old and a Grandpa. I’m still young enough that maybe I can be the cool Grandpa like my Grandpa was to me. So I think that pretty much covers what has been going on around here. Good things happening even in this time of compete uncertainty. Would love to hear some other good news that is going on around the world from you all. I don’t care how big or how small it is. Just anything that is good that has come out of all of the pandemic. Have an amazing day all. Will keep you all posted. Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light. -Albus Dumbledore-
@Stumbler

@shannon_devlaminck , all that labour. Just be careful you don't over-do it. MS doesn't like to be ignored and has a nasty habit of biting you on the ass. Great news about your son. And becoming a grandfather too. Congratulations. Don't over-do the euphoria...........

@Vixen

Some nice news from you @@shannon_devlaminck, so congratulations. Things have certainly been on the upturn, let's hope it continues. My good news is that I've saved a fortune in train fares since working from home, so all good from me! :-)
