New Chapter....

So after all the welfare meetings, I was given severance on medical grounds by work, they were very good tbh, kept me in the loop as we couldn't go further really with "reasonable adjustments". So last Tuesday was my last day as they are paying me my notice in lieu along with all my leave which I haven't touched as been off most the year.... So its new chapters, at 55 with PPMS I doubt I will find any paid employment for 1-2 days a week max as that's all I could manage, but may look a 1 day a week voluntary role... we will have to see... Had to make a PIP intervention claim as part of the process as well (make me laugh when they say that you can lose your claim... I doubt it with PPMS and just had to give up work...) haha So onwards and upwards, have my infusion in a couple of week too. Anyway, keep smiling, (in my case its just wind) :-)
@Rebeccaann

I have been given severance due to prolonged absence due to illness, I do keep up voluntary work with the scouts. I love scouting although I do less running around with the children and more background work, organising and liaison work. I do enjoy it. Even the camping. I have my own tent, cot bed with a foam mattress so I really set up as glamping rather than camping.

@Rebeccaann Thanks, I used to love scouting as a kid, but I now have very limited mobility and energy.
