Ups and Downs (an old writing entry)

Since being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in November of 2020 it’s been a rocky ride. A complete shift in my lifestyle, a constantly changing day-to-day routine. Plans are merely ideas or suggestions because I can’t set anything other than medical appointments in stone. And that has been so hard for a person who wants everything planned on paper to execute for the week. I have a progressive illness. I don’t know how slowly or how quickly I will progress. I have days of severe depression and grief. I have days of contentment. And I have days even better than the others, full of appreciation for where I’m at. - 12/22/21
