Might have the JC virus

Well as you all know I wanted to see my neurologist on Friday and I told him the truth He kept me on 3mg Klonopin three times a day and he said stop drinking he left all the other medication the same except the Copaxone own he's taking me off of and he wants to try me on tecfidera, I believe that's how you spell it I still have to get blood work to see about the JC virus which is also known as PML I believe so keep me in your prayers and thank you very much

Milton, I actually had the JC virus, and was taken off Tecfidera, that drug, I am sure is different for all kinds of people, for me it was awful, www.wholesorts.com is a monthly blog and it may be a useful read for you. Stay well

Hi Milton, I’ve been on Tecfidera just over a year with no real side effects. Some hot flushing but that’s controllable with baby aspirin. Indeed I’ve had more peace of mind from being on some form of treatment and having the knowledge and hope that it might help me. Last week I got the news that it’s been a year on Tecfidera with no new lesions!!! It was a good day! I keep my fingers crossed you have a good experience with tecfidera. Stay hopeful.
