Hi all, I'm very newly diagnosed. My symptom that prompted investigation was severe loss of sight in my left eye at the end of January (almost 6 months ago) I was admitted to hospital and on IV steroids, then followed a tapering dose of oral steroids for another month, unfortunately they seem to have had little if any effect. I am very gradually seeing very small improvements, but my vision is probably only 40% better. Is there anything anyone else had tried that has helped, I've read about plasma exchange, it doesn't sound pleasant but if it helped I'd try anything. Or has anyone tried red light therapy? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, please no scary off putting stories, already feeling quite overwhelmed by the diagnosis and terrified of sight going in my other eye. Thank you
