A little rant

Hi everyone, I guess I'm just looking to vent to people who understand, my family keep shutting down my thoughts and tell me to wait for the next mri. I was told I have what looks to be benign ms based on what mri is showing, however I don't think I would be having this many symptoms if it was benign. So my thinking is how do they know they haven't just caught it early enough that it looks benign. Also my left eye is suffering bad with optic neuritis, does anyone else have constant eye pain that gets worse in the sun? It's early days for me and I have alot more questions than anyone has answers and I feel like I'm driving myself insane with all the what ifs. Thanks for reading
@Clary

Being in limbo, waiting for a diagnosis of anything, is enough to raise anyone’s anxiety. It can be super important for extroverts to have a way of communicating. This can be helpful for some. Introverts often like to think it over themselves. Some MS Charities offer counselling. This was helpful for me. Just getting it out was therapeutic for me. Hope all goes well. All the best.

Hey @Liss98 the 'what ifs' are definitely enough to drive you insane and once you start on them, well, you just overthink everything! I have optic neuritis in my right eye and occasionally have a dull ache behind the eye. Sunlight/bright lights don't so much make the pain worse but my eyes don't like the brightness. There's an interesting article on benign MS below and as it says, having benign MS doesn't guarantee you'll be free of symptoms. https://www.mssociety.org.uk/about-ms/types-of-ms/benign-ms#:~:text=The%20term%20benign%20MS%20is,'t%20cause%20any%20harm'. Always here if you want to reach out x
