Eye issues for the first time…

Hi folks, So today was a first for me. I was working and all of a sudden I started to have the sensation that you get when you’re outside in the bright sun and then walk indoors, the only difference was it wasn’t like black spots dancing across my eyes it was like a clear but blurred spot in the middle of my left eye. When I closed my left eye to see how my right eye was doing the spot was still there but not as bad. It did start to get worse. I carried on working and then it just wore off. To give a bit of context, I’m an embalmer and when the vision issue started I had been moving a lady just to wash her and when the issue seemed to go away I had been moving another lady onto a resting bed so there was a bit of strenuous movement both times. I didn’t know if this was just a weird exertion thing or an MS symptom as I’ve never had eye issues before and I’ve literally just been to the consultant about 7 weeks ago or so and there was no issue with my optic nerves or anything when they looked in my eyes. Sorry for the long post, just still finding my feet with everything. Thanks Leisha x

Hey Leisha. My vision was the first symptom of what would eventually lead to a RRMS diagnosis. I saw double because one eye stopped receiving the signals from the brian etc. The condition lasted 9 months and my vision returned to normal. But I do find that since, if I over exert myself with exercise, my vision can become a little off in that it might go a little strained or double visiony. Not that it's impeded, but that I don't feel 100%. A little spaced out perhaps.
