Injections eeeekk

Hello everyone I'm on the thirteen week waiting list for medication, I think that I will choose Rebif as you don't manually inject yourself it is done by a device. Which would be the easiest method as I am petrified of needles I cry like a baby each time I even see one. As there are numerous side effects to all the medication it makes it harder to choose. I was wondering could I have everyone's opinions on which medication is best. :)
@Stumbler

@Kerrie , you'll find that the fear of the injection is a lot worse than the injection itself. Most injectable DMDs come supplied with an "autoinjector", which will avoid you needing to see the needle. I should imagine that you still have childhood memories/fears of needles. Well, the needles are now engineered finer than they used to be, so they're a lot easier and the injections are hardly noticeable. The interferons, of which Rebif is one, can give you flu-like symptoms a short while after the injection. This can give you the chills followed by the sweats. So, it's preferable to have the injections in the evening, so you can be in bed for this side-effect. You'll be fine the next day And, this is only a short term effect, while your body adjusts to receiving the medication.

@kerrie I have not started treatment yet but opted for copaxone due to least side effects and no blood tests. I am wimping out tho and have been naughty as I've not returned the call I got saying my meds were ready for delivery. I try to ignore the situation but I need to "man up" tomorrow and get them delivered. I'm with you on the needle thing tho but I'm sure we will all be ok. these guys here are really good advisers so I'm sure they will be along soon x
