Diagnosed on Monday

Hi got my official diagnosis on Monday, was told in September that it was most probably MS but needed a lumbar puncture to confirm. So got that and a load of information about different drugs, back on the 4th December to tell them which one I’ve chosen 🤷‍♀️. Anyway I enjoy reading all your posts.

Greetings and welcome to this group of very helpful understanding people. I’m sure your head is spinning and full of questions. First and foremost, let’s be thankful that we live during a time when there are many choices of treatments available. And there is a strange relief in knowing that they can identify and diagnose what is wrong. For me, I really knew something was wrong—-just didn’t know what to call it. So, when they told me it was MS in 2006 I was not at all surprised. Take time to just let it wash over you. Get on medications that are proven to fight this and know you have a place to go when you have random thoughts or questions. You can do this! God bless you and your family.
