Advice on diet vs meds...anyone regret trying the diet way?

I was just diagnosed this month. My biggest question is whether there are any of you who SERIOUSLY followed the MSHope.com diet and wish you had not? I am hearing of many people who did not take the drug route, but have actually reversed symptoms by diet, but I don't know if this is just antidotal. I decided to get my shingles vaccine before treatment, so I have 3 1/2 months to try it. But would love some input!! I watched "Living Proof" on Amazon Prime as well. Choosing joy, david

Hi David, I followed the lancet journal approved ‘swank’ diet but I got it wrong and wish to god I took a safe but very effective drug. I have disability that I may not see end and I’m only 34. My friend, be very open to safe and effective drugs like tecfedira or copaxone, Spencer

Hi - looks like MSHope recommends the Best Bet diet - if you put Best Bet in the search box here quite a lot of results come up, so that might be helpful. Also if you haven’t come across Dr Aaron Boster on YouTube then have a look at his brilliant short videos - they’re very informative. I was diagnosed this summer and have gone the DMD route but some people do rely on diet, it’s a personal choice. Overcoming MS is worth checking out too - it emphasises diet but also taking a DMD. Wishing you good luck with whichever path you go down
