Kesimpta

Hi all and merry Christmas! I'm seeing my Neurologist in January to change over to Kesimpta from Avonex which I have been on for 8 years. I know that Kesimpta is a b cell depleting medication, working in retail and having young children I'm worried about being ill constantly. Other concern being the low chance of pml. Any personal experiences and advice would be appreciated.
@Clary

I am on Ocrevus which is also a B cell depleter. For the first couple of years plasma cells are present and result in lower incidence of illness. It is usually after about 2 yrs that plasma cells can become depleted and result in more infections. Although, I am not 100% sure that this is how Kesimpta works. Definitely worth clarifying with your team. All the best.

@Clary thank you for the advice, hope you have a fantastic Christmas.
