Bladder problems

Hello, I’ve had my MS diagnoses for 13 years now and I’m well aware that bladder problems can be part of it. But I’ve been investigating my latest bladder problem for about a year now. I have a hard time peeing. I don’t feel the urge to go. When I do go it takes a while for anything to come out and even then, not a whole lot does. And then there’s a strong odour. I’ve had sonogram of my bladder — I have slight retention but I’m told that’s it’s nothing out of the ordinary. I don’t have a UTI or other infections… I get urine tests regularly. I’ve seen a urologist and I was just told to drink more (I already drink a lot — about 3-4 bottles of water a day plus juice, milk and 1 soda can). My doc just put me on flomax to see if that will help. So far I feel bloated but nothing is happening as a result. I’m not peeing more and I still don’t feel the urge to go. I am hygienic, so washing isn’t the issue. Has anyone had this or something similar? I don’t know what else to do and my docs keep telling me the same things… I’m out of ideas and I’m tired of adding pills to my repertoire… Thank you.

@Ddott I feel you. What I find to make it easier. Turn the water tap on in the sink the running water sound may help.
