Hello đź‘‹
Hi and thanks for letting me join
I was diagnosed with MS in 2012 after a a collapse, no symptoms before that.
I was born in Dunstable England and moved to Ireland in the 70's when I found the green eyed redheaded beautiful girl who became my wife.
After my diagnosis there was nothing, no help, no advice not even a leaflets. I was left with the fear and problems. Scary time but in the past now. I'm now retired and widowed, very active, also drug and symptoms free.
I have a positive attitude towards life. .
Welcome to this group! Glad you are physically doing well despite the diagnosis. I wonder why do you think your doctor offered no help no advice? Was it just a really bad experience with the doctor/doctor’s office. If it was that bad, I would encourage you to see another neurologist if only to talk through treatment options. It is a shame that they didn’t provide you with a basic education on MS itself and an explanation of the types of preventative medications that are available nowadays. In the meantime, thank God above for giving you relief—-and a positive attitude .
Hello there, Glad to see in your profile that your MS is stable - mashallah - whats your strategy with MS have you been on any long term immune modifying drug if I may ask?
