Kesimpta
Hi all just thought I would share my experience so far on Kesimpta. I did my 1st injection last week (at 10am) the injection itself was fine, side affects weren’t too bad my eyes became very sore after about 4 hrs then got flu symptoms. This week I did the injection later on in the day (5pm) started feeling flu like symptoms about 8pm swiftly went to bed and slept the whole night (which is a first!!). My advice to anyone taking Kesimpta is definitely do it in the evening so you sleep through side affects! I am hoping it continues this way but keeping an open mind!!!! Would be nice to hear from others taking Kesimpta and their experiences.
Thank u for posting this @Colette my neuro wants me to access kesimpta because i have had disability progression with Aubagio. But I have struggled with the Aubagio side effects which I was told were very similar to Kesimpta. Hope things continue to go well!!!!!
I too had flu like symptoms on my first shot which was in the am but started taking it just before bed and don’t have that now. I started in June. On my monthly shots now. Found a lot of my MS symptoms disappeared after the third weekly shot but not some are few appearing before my next monthly. Not sure if this is just because I’m a few days away from my next dose or what. I do have very active RRMS and am due another MRI this month so will be interesting to see has is started to improve or slow down any lesions. Best of luck with your journey 💪
