Ms and running

About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with MS after a hemiparesis on the right side of my body. I recovered pretty fast and I wasn’t having many problems with my walk after. recently I started running but it feels very very weird like my right leg it’s not part of my body. Did anyone experienced this and has some advice? I really enjoy running as my main form of exercise and I don’t want to stop but I’m afraid of injury

Hi, yeh this has happened to myself, I used to love going to the gym but found my right leg was just doing it’s own thing. I eventually stopped running on the treadmill as my leg would drop causing me to go flying both painful and embarrassing x

@Surreygirl

My right leg also does it’s own thing. I have foot drop on that side. I have borrowed a foot brace from the neuro physio, it means I can walk further , I don’t think I could run with it though
