Dear Shift.ms friends, you know, it's quite a thing to find yourself at a loss for words. When I joined Shift.ms two years ago, I was still finding my footing after my MS diagnosis. I was a bit of a ship lost at sea. But this incredible community was the lighthouse. Tomorrow is my last day at Shift.ms and you’ve been instrumental in my journey. I learnt from you, leaned on you, and was inspired by you. Every shared story, every nugget of information, every reassurance - they were like pieces of a puzzle that helped me navigate my life with MS. I found my sense of purpose renewed here and I was able to reclaim the happiness I thought I'd lost. I've learnt so much here, and now I feel ready - ready to live life to the fullest, travel as much as possible with the people dearest to me, and to find joy in a job that doesn't require me to consciously think about MS every day. I'd like you to know, it's not an easy goodbye. But it's a necessary one. And I hope you understand. So, here it is, my heartfelt goodbye. To each and every one of you in the Shift.ms family - thank you. For your kindness, your courage, your wisdom, and your unwavering support. I'll carry all of it with me, no matter where I go.
