Aubagio
Hi. I have done nearly 2 weeks on aubagio. I stated with stomach ache, then back ache, by day 4 I was hit with really bad vertigo, room spinning, puking every time I moved. Phoned Ms nurse who advised me to continue. However I am now totally disorientated, off balance, right arm and leg feel numb and heavy and I don't think I can go on with these. It's like every relapse I've had has come back all in one go. None of these things seem to be listed as side effects so I'm not even sure if these pills have brought on another relapse. I feel so bad I wish I'd never started them. Does anyone have any advice?
I was on Aubagio for about a year up until recently when I had a flare but my experience with it was pretty tame compared to what you’re describing. I did have hair loss (which stopped after a few months) and nausea (especially worsened by being in a car or having to deal with gross things like taking out the compost or getting bloodwork done) but that was about it. I’d say if you’re experiencing numbness it sounds like a flare, talk to your doctor if you can! I hope you’re feeling better soon :+)
Thankyou It seems too much of a coincidence to me that it all came on within days of starting them but I've trawled through the Internet and haven't found anyone experiencing similar symptoms. I thought I could cope with headache and tummy trouble but vertigo scares the hell out of me
