My daughter age 14 has rrms diagnosed age 12

I’m joining this group as my daughter age 14 was diagnosed in January 2020 with rrms at the age of 12 her medication is tecfidera - we trying to understand ms more

Hi Angela I started with MS at 10 diagnosed at 12, best thing my doctor told me was keep living your life. MS is a build up of damage to your nervous system, so the more relapses means more damage and it gets harder to recover from, getting the right meds to reduce these is key.

@Alan82Broomhead she’s been on tecfidera since being diagnosed- it’s just an illness we don’t know much about so willing to learn more to help my daughter except her illness.
