any advice??

Hi Guys Hope everyone is doing ok. Im wondering if u guys can help me with some info please. As previously posted: I have a 1.6mm benign meningioma in my left 3rd ventricle in my brain which is the easy part...... I also have 7 highlighted white areas which were suspect of possible ms. My most recent mri showed no growth in tumor but another lesion has appeared. My lumber punch came back as all ornigiclonoal bands are positive. No lesions on spine, I have a dull but persistant headache on and off for a very long time now... weeks! I had bouts of extreme fatigue and my diet and nutrition is good. I have not been diagnosed with ms yet feel I need an answer why I feel even odd in my head alot even when I dont have headaches. This isnt how I used to feel! Im a happy go lucky person, know it could be worse but im in limbo and its getting me down. People say with a positive lp and multiple brain lesions it means ms.... why would i have no diagnosis? Is my neurologist slack? Any advise? Thank u, from emma.

Hi @00gurl , your Neuro is just wanting to be absolutely certain, as it's a big decision to make.. I tend to agree that lesions showing on an MRI and oligoclonal bands appearing in your CerbroSpinal Fluid (CSF) would suggest a diagnosis of MS. The only other test I can think of would be the Visual Evoked Potentials, to measure your visual responses to various stimulation. The only person who can explain the delay in your diagnosis would be your Neuro, Have you tried contacting them to ask the question? Just explain that your life is on hold at the moment and you need to move on, Good luck.

Thanks @stumbler, I thought as much. It is just horrible not being able to function mentally like I used to even 2 years ago, it is really starting to effect my work and no definite answer or meds to help. Your always full of support and so responsive.
