Treatment...
Hey guys im off to see my neuro in two days as i am 100% positive i am having a relapse. Ive only ever been treated for one before but this one seems to be a lot worse. Is there any other form of treatment for a relapse besides going into hospital and having a few days of IV steroids?? I hate being in hospital and im wondering if any of you lovely people have any other suggestions for me. Ive let it as long as i can trying to "self cure myself" which im clearly not very good at and it hasnt worked. Any feedback would be great!!
My last relapse was comparatively small but very troublesome and the neuro relapse clinic said that on past experience steroids didn't do much for me. I was prescribed intensive physio. Really depends on your symptoms. I had 8 physio sessions a few days apart and did my exercises - was better in a few weeks.
I had 5 days of oral methylprednisalone on my last bad relapse, no hospital required!!x
