Questioning treatment

Hey there party people! I’m a mser and I have self treated for 17+ years... pretty successful till I had a massive “flare” last year. Now my option to slow progress is freaking me out!!! Can I get some advice about Rebif??? Every thing I read about it terrifies me and I need some input from other sources. I don’t like medication it makes my pains and aches worse, after all these years of muscle spasms and tummy issues I’m ready for some ease. I’m the ripe age of 37 have 3 amazing healthy children 21,18,16 thank goodness I got thru their childhood with minimal issues. Oh yeah and top all this crazy off, my neurologist just up and quit... must find new team now 😳 anyway rambling now so any info on giving shots much appreciated! Stay strong my new wobbly friends 💕
@MamaWals

I don’t know anything about rebif. I’m in the “go big or go home” camp. If you’re going to have side effects might as well make it worth the hassle. Have you looked at Lemtrada, Ocrevus, or Tysabri?

@Stumbler

@shazta_murphy , following on from what @mamawals was saying, Rebif is one of the original and least effective Disease Modifying Therapies (DMTs). There are now a range of options, both "maintenance" and "Immune Reconstitution Therapies", with a range of delivery options, oral, injectables and infusions. One of which should fit comfortably into your lifestyle.
