Jet Lag

Hi All, First of all, I've just got back from the holiday of a lifetime in Vancouver with my wife, after presenting a talk at an international conference. Couldn't have had a better time and Medical marijuana is legal! However, upon my return I have suffered terribly from jet lag and consiquent insomnia. I actually slept for about 27 hours in a single day last week, and even nodded off during the first half of the theater (Jurrasic Park with a live orchestra - superb!) on the weekend. This is odd as I've previously traveled extensively, throughout the globe and not really suffered with jet lag. I'm not really asking for any advice, just wanted to make note of it and write something to keep me occupied after being awake all night! ๐Ÿ˜ Alao, currently on Techfidera, which I've now settled into, but makes me sweat profusely in certain situations - like any exercise or coming in from the cold. I assume other people get this? Happy dreams, Birdboy

@birdboy , I'm glad you had a good holiday. As for your jetlag, it could well be your "MS brain". It has to work hard in trying to interpret messages coming over your damaged Central Nervous System (CNS), so asking it to manage a swift change in timezones is probable causing "your processor to max out". So, be patient with yourself and don't stress about it.

@grandma

@birdboy so glad you had a great holiday. You probably expected a certain amount amount of jet lag anyway so was it worth it? I hope you delivered a sterling speech. I'm also on Tec. Have been since Jan., all going ok, usually relapse 2/3 times a year, were in the middle of Sept. and nothing so far๐Ÿ˜
