Before getting my first COVID Vaccination I told them I get Ocrevus infusions and the last was on the 4th February with the next booked for 2nd August. I was advised by my Neuro that I had a wait 12 week after infusion before getting the jab and had to have the 2nd jab 4 weeks before the next infusion, so a smallish window. As I should be vaccinated before the 5th July the helpline were called
COVID helpline - the 1st vaccine was administered on 14th May so you have to wait 8 weeks before the 2nd can be booked ie 9th July (after the 4week deadline) and if I need to plan it before then to call my GP.
GP’s surgery - we are having nothing to do with the vaccination call your MS nurse
MS nurse - call the helpline and explain again the situation
COVID helpline - call your GP
I’m getting dizzy with spinning in circles, so have to weigh up either delaying my treatment or my 2nd vaccination
It can be a real struggle when people don’t understand. A wise teacher told me not to stuff ourselves in a box because our legs and arms would stick out. Sorry, that doesn’t help. I am not sure I can help. Camp outside your GPS until you are listened to. Again, not helpful. It’s a bit cold for that. Keep banging, or get someone else to bang. Good luck 🤞.
Craig I bet your spinning Hope you finally get it sorted. You know with your PPMS Do you find physio helps? My legs are heavy and it gets me down. Fingers crossed sort Jab before Ocrevus.👍
