French motorway service stations
I am a carer for my wife who has MS.
She now needs assistance within a toilet cubicle, getting on and off the WC.
My question is:
What is the etiquette for a male helper when using French facilities, as at motorway services, where the disabled loo is within the Female section?
Do I just wander in holding doors etc?

The French are far more laissez faire about this sort of thing. Just do it and you’ll be fine. The Brits are the ones that might be uptight about that sort of thing. The French far less so.
My husband helps me in the toilet all the time so I hope it would be the same on your travels(fingers crossed)
