Hi, I last had optic neuritis around 2016 and before that in 2011. Since then I have been diagnosed with MS and had two doses of lemtrada. The last was in February 2019. I have just started to get these symptoms and think I might have optic neuritis again. Does ON feel different or effect us differently after lemtrada? Tuesday night - freezing, aching and vomiting. Wednesday - feeling better, some nausea throughout day. Thursday- stomach upset in am. Pain in eye when moving. Friday - stomach upset in am. Pain in eye worse when moving and ache under the eye (above cheek bone area) Saturday - Pain in eye and eyesight blurry in same eye. Optician (not my usual one), can't see any optic nerve swelling and says eye looks healthy and optic nerve is round. I feel like I have blind spots in my eye but I might be imaging this as I'm expecting it. Sunday- fatigue, stomach upset pm. Eye pain is easing but bad nausea all day, vision feels clearer today, but sore when out in bright sun. I do think I've had a virus which may have started off ON, but I can't remember the stages and if the pain will ease before my vision will go. Or if the pain is easing then it's unlikely that its been ON. I will make an appointment to see my usual optician, but unfortunately they are closed until Tuesday. The optician I saw on Saturday referred me to the hospital opthalmology so I will hopefully get an appointment with them soon. Feeling frustrated as I don't know whats going on, just looking for some opinion from others who have had ON.
