Blue badge

After diagnosis, are we eligible for a blue badge for parking? Most days I am fine with my walking, but as you can imagine, unexpectedly some days I'm in a fair bit of pain and struggle with walking. I asked my neurologist and she wasn't sure whether I would be eligible for a blue badge. Does anyone have one and what was the application process?

@jazminfannon Your local council administration will access you for it. Just always explain your symptoms as when they affect you at there worst. I've just had mine renewed it costs just over a tenner for 3 years..t

@jazminfannon Hi again, a letter saying you have ms from your nuero or doctor helps. When you get one it is for you...so as long as you have it with you in any vehicle it's covered.
