I've been on Nortriptyline for about a year and I started on 5mg which was eventually increased to 50mg within a few months. Since I've been on it I have found that I have not been able to stay asleep for long enough. It makes me fall asleep so quickly but it's a very poor quality sleep. My bladder wasn't helping but I'm now on medication for that & I'm still waking up during the night even when I don't urgently need to pee. I've now reduced to 25mg as it is not helping any of my symptoms and I'm planning on coming off it altogether. The chronic lack of sleep means that my pain and ms symptoms feel much worse than before I was on this medication. Did this medication cause any sleep difficulties for anyone else?
