When I was going through the process of getting diagnosed, I needed two round of steroids (1 infusion and other other a Medrol pack) and then got on Ocrevus. Between the stress and the steroids, I lost 1/4-1/3 of my hair in certain places. You receive a burst of prednisone before your Ocrevus infusion as well and if you’ve had steroids before that like I did then you’ll probably lose some hair. My hair loss went back to the normal amount once my winter/spring relapse subsided, because I wasn’t under such stress. From what I can tell, many MSers discuss hair loss due to their treatments or stress. It’s a rough go.

I lost a lot of hair before I was diagnosed and still am even before taking the medicine I was suggested. My hair also changed completly from wavy to now curly with strand that are straight and colour wise is lighter. The texture is different and also is constantly dry. I have tried different hair treafments no luck so far. Everytime I brush my hair or straighten it so much falls. I think it is our immune system which is overactive and probably attacking the hair folicles. I did iron blood tests, everything was fine and also hormones test. I have this issue for a year now and has improved. Have you lost more hair before or after being in medicine?
