I have tried all treatments available

All available treatments didn’t agree with me or help my MS. The best thing I’ve found so far is a whole food plant based diet or Sushi because it does reduce the side effects but don’t seem to have reduced the progression of my MS. I followed the Overcoming MS diet (no dairy, eggs or meat) but again it does nothing more than reduce the horrible symptoms of me MS.

@firebird , there are more than a dozen treatments available for Relapsing/Remitting MS (RRMS). You've done well to try them all in 13 years! However, treatments for Secondary Progressive MS (SPMS) are sadly limited in numbers. When did you transition to SPMS?

I was diagnosed with SPMS about a year ago but felt that I was going downhill more than 2 years ago! I’ve felt like a ‘lab rat’ at times trying all of the different DMDs but with only the dreaded side effects but no improvement. I realize there is very little data available for progressive forms of the disease and have the feeling like I’m my Neurologists ‘play thing’. I’ve had IV steroids and do have an initial boost but it takes me a few weeks to get back to my normal self.
